A little red wine may be good for your heart but too much can cause spider veins and thread veins. It can also cause bloating and sallowness.
To prevent alcohol related ageing, reduce your intake.
Excessive drinking leads to rapid increases in fluid retention, which can alter the way your blood vessels behave. This then causes spider veins and bloating.
If you really drink to excess your alcohol abuse can damage your liver, which cannot then expel toxins. This shows up in yellow looking skin and yellowing of the whites of your eyes.
Alcohol related ageing can be prevented just by reducing your alcohol consumption.
About two average glasses of wine every other day is okay. Any more and you'll start to look a lot older than you are.
