Good body health helps build your beautiful body. Your body is a miraculous machine, a marvel of evolution designed to help you navigate our world.

At birth your body is an engine, a cell building and reproductive machine, but as you age, your body, your machine, runs down. Parts wear out and other parts, like teeth and eyes, fail and depending on how well you've looked after your marvellous machine, you'll likely look your age, younger or older.

At times worry about weight and poor body image becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Smoothies are filling and provide a good ratio of protein to carbohydrates and fats. Strawberries are one of the richest sources of vitamin C, as are blackcurrants and raspberries.

They also contain bioflavanoids which work with vitamin C to support your immune system.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of sunflower seeds
  • 1½ tablespoons of pumpkin seeds
  • 500 gm (18 oz) of either strawberries, raspberries or blackcurrants, or any combination of the three, fresh preferably
  • 400 gm (14 oz) of organic tofu, drained and diced 1½ litres (3 pints) of rice milk or oat milk

Method:

Place the sunflower and pumpkin seeds in a food processor and grind for 30 seconds.
Add the tofu, strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and rice or oat milk.
Blend until smooth and serve immediately.

Building your beautiful body is easier than you might think. It just needs you to have a positive self image and to look after yourself.
